Every Tuesday Night at the Verdi
Club is the Tuesday Night Jump! A jamboree of swingin' roots music drives this dance
party. Join a melting pot of young and old: Loungers, Kittens, Boppers and Hoppers from
Sacramento to Santa Cruz. Jumpin' since 1999, Voted 2007 Best Swing Dance in the Bay by SF
Weekly.
Run by Tanoa Stewart of A-Town Agency, we also run special weekend/out
of town band shows with Rockabilly, Swing, Jump Blues and more! Roots music for dancing at
a venue with a large dance floor, full bar and is all-ages!

A 50s, 60s Teenage Ball of Twistin', Swingin', Rockin tunes...
The Hi Rhythm Hustlers play music from the golden age of
entertainment, when crazy kids danced: strolled, twisted and bopped the night away to
bands such as Bill Haley's Comets... Slappin' upright bass, honking saxophone and swinging
guitar for all-ages.
Mike Walz on the bass and Jay Laude on drums providing a solid foot-stompin' rhythm, the
"Mighty" Mitch Polzak swings out flashy leads and solos evoking Carl Perkins or
Jimmy Bryant. Shuffling his feet center-stage is Raul Castro taking the lead on vocals and
saxophone. Halloween's creep fest will add special guest singer to the bill, Cari Lee!
